The meals in the community garden are a special opportunity to learn from and connect with each other. We will begin by learning about what’s in season, and will harvest, wash, and prep each ingredient before heading into the kitchen to learn from a local chef how to cook and enjoy the garden’s offerings. We will eat the meal that we prepare together, before helping with clean up!
This is a classic summer dish, and one of our favorites. New potatoes and peas, boiled until tender, are bathed in a butter and dill dressing that soothes the soul. This event is free and no registration is required.
