Natural Artists Camp

Ages 10 - 16!

This is three-day camp for aspiring young artists! We will meet Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am-3pm! We will teach the artistic journey from start to finish using natural materials! We will show how to make paper, bind a sketch book, make charcoal utensils, pens, and paints all from scratch! Plus so much more! This class is for kids ages 7 - 14. We will only have a few spots available so make sure to claim your spot!

There are limited spaces for this camp because we are trying something new! This camp's main purpose is outreach and giving opportunities of learning for kids who may not have access to these sorts of camps. We are cooperating with the migrant workers in the valley to help fill these classes with their children. The camp is set at the hours of the day that their families will be working so they don't have to worry about picking and dropping their kids off at inconvenient times. We hope that this camp will be the first of many like this and we are hoping to be able to reach more people than we have before. This camp is all about connecting our community on a deeper level and extending opportunities to those who may have seemed out of reach till now.

Have your kids be a part of this new opportunity to grow!

Sign up for your spot here!

Plant-rich Lifestyle Workshop: Mark Masarik & Ellen Bush

I and Ellen Bush, co-partner with Drawdown Treasure Valley, are re-starting workshops using the Project Drawdown practical solutions to encourage community members to “up their game” with respect to taking actions to reverse global warming.

During COVID we hosted a one hour session on a Plant-rich diet ( our word: lifestyle)  Depending on global scaling parameters, a plant rich diet is actually the 2nd or 3rd most impactful solution.  We focus on the three “P’s” in this workshop: Planning, Preparation, and Protein.   We do not lobby for folks to be vegetarian and/or vegan. We do advocate that the majority of the food on their plate should be plant-based.

A plant-rich lifestyle is a double win; healthy for individuals and healthy for the planet.

Anni Jack is a student of horticulture with a history in floristry and gardening. She has married both of her passions in her current botanical photography endeavors. Through Anni’s plant knowledge, she highlights the unique characteristics of plant life in macro photography and also showcases them in their landscape.
