The meals in the community garden are a special opportunity to learn from and connect with each other. We will begin by learning about what’s in season, and will harvest, wash, and prep each ingredient before heading into the kitchen to learn from a local chef how to cook and enjoy the garden’s offerings. We will eat the meal that we prepare together, before helping with clean up!
This week our community meal will be taught by Cole, a chef at Life’s Kitchen. They’ll teach us how to make your own cauliflower rice, paired with a sautéed Thai basil eggplant. This event is free with no registration required.
