Community Meal: Learn to Make Ricotta with Edible Flowers, Strawberry and Beet Sofrito, and Polenta

The meals in the community garden are a special opportunity to learn from and connect with each other. We will begin by learning about what’s in season, and will harvest, wash, and prep each ingredient before heading into the kitchen to learn from a local chef how to cook and enjoy the garden’s offerings. We will eat the meal that we prepare together, before helping with clean up!

This week, we are welcoming our friend, Chef Cole, to teach us to make ricotta cheese, with edible flowers. They will also be teaching how to create a beautiful strawberry and beet sofrito, and a side of polenta.
