Community Meal: Flatbread, and Green Garlic & Turnip Greens Pesto

The meals in the community garden are a special opportunity to learn from and connect with each other. We will begin by learning about what’s in season, and will harvest, wash, and prep each ingredient before heading into the kitchen to learn from a local chef how to cook and enjoy the garden’s offerings. We will eat the meal that we prepare together.

Flatbread can seem like a daunting accompaniment to a meal, but it doesn’t have to be. & who doesn’t love hot, soft-on-the-inside-but-crunchy-on-the-outside flatbread?? We sure do. We’ll teach you how to make it simple, and will pair it with a pesto made of turnip greens and green garlic, topped with turnips, & radish. No reservation is required.
