Community Meal: Ratatouille

The meals in the community garden are a special opportunity to learn from and connect with each other. We will begin by learning about what’s in season, and will harvest, wash, and prep each ingredient before heading into the kitchen to learn from a local chef how to cook and enjoy the garden’s offerings. We will eat the meal that we prepare together, before helping with clean up!

This week we’ll be making ratatouille, taught not by a rat, but by Cole, a chef at Life’s Kitchen! We’ll be doing a non-composed ratatouille with summer squash, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, onion, and garlic fresh from the farm! This event is free and does not require registration.
