Community Meal: Beet Pasta with Brown Butter Sage Sauce

The meals in the community garden are a special opportunity to learn from and connect with each other. We will begin by learning about what’s in season, and will harvest, wash, and prep each ingredient before heading into the kitchen to learn from a local chef how to cook and enjoy the garden’s offerings. We will eat the meal that we prepare together, before helping with clean up!

This week, we will teach you to create pasta noodles with the wonderful pigment & earthy flavor of red beets. The brown butter sage sauce makes the dish rich and nourishing, one that you’ll want to make for your family and friends after you share it with us. No registration is required, and this event is free. Come hungry!
