Community Meal: Elote

The meals in the community garden are a special opportunity to learn from and connect with each other. We will begin by learning about what’s in season, and will harvest, wash, and prep each ingredient before heading into the kitchen to learn from a local chef how to cook and enjoy the garden’s offerings. We will eat the meal that we prepare together, before helping with clean up!

This week, our main dish will be a delicious Mexican street corn called elote (aye-loe-tay), with one of our owners and her sister. Come learn about this Mexican-style corn-on-the-cob with our just-harvested corn! This event is free and requires no registration.
